FACILITIES
The house is built on the flat top of a hill, with easy access, circular driveway and plenty of flat land. Depending on time of year, there could be grazing cattle or other livestock on the 14 acres of pasture and bush. 3 large decks so you can follow the sun around, then fire up the barbecue to watch the amazing sunsets.
Amazing country style kitchen - electric double oven with gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and generous sized fridge-freezer. Coffee machine, electric jug and toaster are provided, as well as everything necessary for the well-equipped kitchen.
The open-plan living room with wood-burning fireplace, sun porch, dining and kitchen areas are spacious and welcoming. The dining table seats 8 comfortably, the kitchen counter seats 4.
There is a 32 inch TV with all basic Sky digital and a blu-ray player with a variety of CDs DVDs and blu-rays, jigsaw puzzles, Wifi, broadband internet and cellphone reception. Even a turntable and collection of 60’s-70’s LP’s. Office area has a library full of books you can browse through.
Mahurangi Manor has plenty of free parking for all its guests. With a circular driveway and parking next to the house you will can start relaxing the moment you drive in.
There are 3 beautiful sunny beaches near Mahurangi Manor's location conveniently, Te Muri Beach to Sullivans Bay and Mita Bay.
There are summer fun days at Sullivans Bay.

TOURISM
Mahurangi West is a hidden gem, nestled between Puhoi and Warkworth just off the main stretch of SH1, a rural enclave that offers stunning scenery, peace and tranquility – with civilization still close at hand. Nearby supermarkets, historic Puhoi village and its famous Puhoi Pub and some great walks and beaches. Matakana is a 20 minute drive, Omaha Beach 20 mins, Orewa /Waiwera 15 mins and Auckland City 45 minutes.
MAHURANGI WEST BEACHES: Mahurangi Regional park protects three peninsulas at the mouth of the historic and picturesque Mahurangi Harbour. Mahurangi spans across the Puhoi River, north of Wenderholm, and along Te Muri Beach to Sullivans Bay and Mita Bay.
PUHOI PUB: The Puhoi pub is one of the last historical pubs left in the Southern hemisphere. The interiors filled with the remnants of past and present memorabilia is enough to fill one with a sense of nostalgia. Enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple, choose from the excellent bistro menu with daily specials, relax in the historic surroundings and take in the atmosphere.
GOAT ISLAND: Goat Island Marine Reserve is named after the little island (Goat Island or Motu Hawere) that sits just 100 metres off the beach and protects it from Pacific Ocean swells. The island is a nature reserve. Goat Island Beach is the setting off point for diving & snorkelling, kayaking, glass bottom boat tours and Goat Island Marine Discovery Centre.
